The Río Duero Soria subsidiary, which this year has had an exceptional performance in the Second Division, begins this Friday the promotion phase to the First Division in Gijón.
The Sorianos want to make a leap in quality to reduce the differences between the subsidiary and the Men’s Super League team, to do so they need to achieve a place in Asturian lands.
There are two groups of three teams and the two finalists of the tournament will advance.
Óscar Arnaiz’s pupils will have their first match this Friday at 10:00 am against Xiria de Galicia.
The next match will be before Jovellanos of Gijón on the Saturday morning.
The first two will play the semi-final phase with the rivals from the other group, made up of Covadonga, a Cantabrian team and a Galician team.
