French international striker Eugénie Le Sommer has extended her contract with OL women for one year, the Rhone club announced on Thursday. She reached the end of her contract on June 30, 2024.
Aged 35, Le Sommer, who has 192 caps for the French team (93 goals) arrived at Olympique Lyonnais in 2010 from Saint-Brieuc. She is the top scorer for OL women with 303 goals and has reached the mark of 402 matches played with the Rhone team. This season, Eugénie Le Sommer participated in 26 matches for 16 goals. Injured, the attacker will be absent this Saturday for the Champions League final against FC Barcelona.
