Badminton Championships: National & Unclassified

Last Saturday, the Badminton Bouriane Club (BBC) organized the 5th National Badminton Championship at the Vigan-en-Quercy gymnasium. Lionel Servais, president of the BBC, manages a club of more than 100 members, including 40 young people, a sport which apparently has the wind in its sails, he commented, since new memberships are coming. He was accompanied by Olivier Ageorge, founder of the club, and Frédéric Gineste, vice-president of the Department, representing Mr. Serge Rigal, and came to present the rewards offered by the Department. The competitors came from all over France: Paris, Angoulême, Limoges, Aurillac, from La Manche, from Dordogne, from all over the Lot…

The competition was judged by official referee Joffrey Clavel and each game was Live Scoring, which involves a manager and a recording tablet for each game played. As for the participants, we received unanimous opinions: the organization is exemplary, the welcome warm, and the facilities first-rate! The BBC will host and organize the Lot Championship on May 30 and 31.

You can also practice badminton, BBC training is on Mondays and Wednesdays for all categories, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the Vigan-en-Quercy gymnasium.
