The Théâtre des Deux Masques Presents Le Prénom: A Comedy Not to Be Missed

The Théâtre des Deux Masques (TDM) is preparing a new play which will be presented from April 27 to May 11 at the Salle François-Prévost of the Montmagny community pavilion. The play Le Prénom is a comedy which will be presented six times and which will feature several actors known in the region.

The cast stars France-Charles Fleury, Julie Gagné, Véronique Robichaud, Mathieu Sirois, as well as Éric Fortier who also shares the direction with Chantal Bossé. “We are once again embarking on a somewhat crazy project by putting on a play like this which will inevitably involve numerous rehearsals in a short schedule, but we are confident with the cast we have. It’s a play with some very funny moments and other very touching ones. But above all funny. The spectators will go from one to the other and in the end, they will certainly have a great evening! », say the directors.

Brought to the cinema in 2011, the comedy tells the story of Vincent, a forty-year-old who succeeds in everything and who is going to become a father for the first time. Invited to dinner at his sister’s house with some childhood friends, he has a great evening until he announces the first name of the future baby. From then on, the evening turns sour!

Tickets are available now from members of the play or via the TDM website.
