Daniela Corchón to Compete in Spanish U17 Badminton Championships on the Island of Ibiza

The island of Ibiza will host the Spanish U17 Championships with the presence of Daniela Corchón from the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club. Daniela, she has had a fantastic season where, at the age of sixteen, she has been proclaimed absolute champion of Castilla y León, she has established herself in the top positions of the national ranking in her category, and she has also been called up by the U17 national team.

The last weeks of his training and competitions have been programmed to achieve his peak form for this weekend.

Daniela starts as the number two seed in the singles table, also starting in a privileged position in the doubles modalities, in women’s with the Navarrese Ainhoa ​​Larraya and in mixed doubles with the Balearic Yulien Gil.

Bringing together the best national rackets, the woman from Soriano does not rule out obtaining a medal in any of the modalities and thus re-editing successes from previous editions.

The tournament will begin for Daniela on Friday afternoon, anticipating an intense day on Saturday where she will have to multiply her efforts to gain access to the finals on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Soriano quarry has a new appointment in Medina del Campo, Valladolid, within the framework of a test that counts towards the national ranking for sub-15 and sub-19 categories.

Specifically, there will be eight players, all of them in the under-15 category. With Isabel Corchón and Carmen Gómez finishing their last competitions in the category, accompanied by Naroa Álvaro, Jimena Ayllón, Aarón Barrera, Álvaro Gómez, Iker González and Daniel Marín, all of them in the sub13 category but who are already facing competitions in the category of the next campaign.
