Jamie Nwofor Signs with Essen: Another U17 Champion Leaves Dortmund

After top scorer Fritz Fleck (16)’s move to Borussia Mönchengladbach was recently leaked, another U17 champion from BVB’s youth team is following him: According to information from Transfermarkt, Len Wörsdörfer (17) is moving back to the Rhineland. Fleck’s offensive colleague receives a contract until 2026, while the former is initially only bound for one year.

The Düsseldorf-born Wörsdörfer, who came to Dortmund from the Fortuna youth team in the summer of 2021, contributed four goals and five assists in 19 games to BVB’s title win after tearing his lateral ligament at the start of the season.
