FT | Alphense Boys O17 – Ajax O17 (0-2)
Ajax O17 took the three points on Saturday afternoon when they visited their peers from Alphense Boys. A businesslike 0-2 victory was achieved in Alphen aan de Rijn. The goals were scored by Emre Ünüvar and Sean Steur.
After seven minutes, Haniel Pereira da Gama had a great chance to score the opening goal, but he was unable to punish an error in Alphense Boys’ defense. Barely a minute later, the attacker was close to making it 1-0 again. His shot was stopped by the goalkeeper, but Ünüvar was attentive and managed to score from the rebound. In the remainder of the first half, Ajax had most of the ball possession, but the team from Amsterdam were unable to create any major opportunities.
In the second half, Ajax O17 immediately put the opponent under pressure again and this resulted in a chance for Ünüvar, but the ball went just wide. More than ten minutes after the break, Luuk Beekman had a great header opportunity, but he headed just over. In the 63rd minute, an attacker from Alphense Boys had the opportunity face-to-face with El Hani, but the latter made the save. Almost fifteen minutes later, Ajax O17 ended the match with a goal from Steur. He pushed the ball into the far corner after a combination through the center.

Ajax O16 lost to PSV O16 at Sportpark de Toekomst on Saturday afternoon. The Eindhoven team took the lead in the first half and the home team was unable to make up for this deficit in the remainder of the match.
In the opening phase, PSV O16 was the dominant party. In the third minute, Ajax goalkeeper Giuliano Bonevacia managed to save the day after a mistake by Thijmen Romers. A minute later, the Eindhoven team had another great chance, but the ball was bizarrely missed from close range. After more than ten minutes of play, the away team still scored. Kennynho Kasanwirjo brought down an opponent and the ball hit the spot. No mistake was made from eleven meters and so the Eindhoven team took the lead.
After the goal, Ajax O16 managed to take control of the match. There was regular excellent combination, but the Amsterdam team was unable to create any opportunities. After half an hour on the clock, Ajax O16 got away well. An attacker from PSV O16 had a difficult header opportunity, but he managed to head the ball towards the goal in a clever way. The ball went under the crossbar, but just missed the goal line. Both teams went to the locker room with a 0-1 halftime score.
In the second half, Ajax O16 went looking for the equalizer. There were chances for Romers, Levi Acheampong and Pharell Nash, but the goal was not hit. In the final phase, the Amsterdam team came close to the equalizer several times. Tyrese Teeuwsen hit the crossbar in the final phase and Nash had the opportunity for an empty goal after the scrimmage, but he shot wildly over. At the end of injury time, the team from Amsterdam seemed to be entitled to a penalty after a handball, but the referee said it was outside the penalty area and a free kick followed that was eventually saved by the goalkeeper.
