This weekend the first absolute master of the badminton season was held in Granollers, attended by the best players in the national ranking. Adrián Oncina and Elena Payà participated in the El Campello badminton club. Adrián Oncina fell in the quarterfinals in the two modalities in which he participated: individually against one of the best international players of the moment, Marc Cardona, who was finally runner-up. In doubles, Adrián together with his partner Miguel Esteve lost against the runners-up, the Abián brothers.
Elena Payà also reached the quarterfinals in mixed doubles, although her great result was being runner-up in the women’s doubles with her partner Ana Caballero from the Alicante club.
The first day of the regional club league was also held in Teulada, in which the El Campello badminton club faced the Teulada club, winning 4-1.
