City council approves motion to install electric vehicle charging stations

The Municipal Administration of Ciampino has put the environmental sustainability. This morning in the City Council a motion was unanimously approved the creation of recharging columns for electrically powered vehicles.

“Since we took office – explained the Councilor Federica Giglio – we have given direction to the offices to proceed with the drafting of Guidelines for the installation of electric charging stations in the area. However, this installation must go through a transparent and public procedure, which is a guarantee of the citizens’ interests. The competent Commission has already met and is awaiting some technical additions from the offices, on the number and location of the columns and the concession fee”.

“It goes in this direction – added the Mayor Emmanuel Colella – the unanimous approval this morning in the City Council of a motion asking us to continue along this path, a sign that the environment is a universal value, regardless of political affiliation”.
