VfL Wolfsburg wins 3-0 in Mainz and is unbeaten in seven games. Also thanks to Maximilian Arnold (28). He prepares Wimmers 1:0 with a corner. Arnold made it 2-0 himself with a super free kick from 30 meters: “It slipped perfectly over my foot.”
This cracker is also a slap in the face for the suspended Max Kruse (34). After a violent crash!

Wolfsburg captain Arnold said in the “Kicker” podcast “FE: male view on football”: “I really like going to work. Unlike Max Kruse, I’m not just here for three and a half hours, but a little longer, I like to do something for myself and my body.”
Kruse Konter via Instagram: “I kept my mouth shut for a long time, but someone, I don’t know why, has to keep talking about me, keeps citing me as an example, even though no one asks him. Says I train for three and a half hours and he’s there longer, watch his body.”
Even if he doesn’t mention the name, it’s clear that he means Arnold. Kruse continues: “We know what it is. Namely: Those who have less talent have to train more.” Boom!
Arnold had already said in September: “Everyone knows about the qualities of a Max Kruse. Everyone also knows about the non-existent qualities of a Max Kruse.”
Arnold’s quality: 17 of his 37 Bundesliga goals were long-range shots. Kruse managed ten of 97 goals from afar.
By the way: While his colleagues were winning in Mainz, the suspended ex-national player was sitting at the poker table 310 kilometers away in Rozvadov/Czech Republic…
