Next week will be held the qualifiers to form the basketball team that will represent the municipality of Othón P. Blanco in the state phase of the Conade 2023 National Games.
Since last October 17 of this year, the call was launched for the coaches of basketball teams and clubs, to be part of this process, which last year was harshly criticized for the way in which some people handled it. for their own benefit, with the consent of the municipal authority.
In the call it indicates that it will be next Saturday, November 12when the corresponding qualifiers are held, taking place at the Nohoch Suku’un gym, in this capital city, starting at 8 in the morning.
The participating categories will be 2005-2006 (17 and 18 years old) and 2007-2008 (15 and 16 years old), both in the male and female branches.
Team registrations started last weekend. and they will continue this Friday at the offices of the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Othón P. Blanco, where they must go with the corresponding documentation of the members of their teams.
According to the document signed by José Canul, head of the Institute, all clubs must be registered in the Municipal League and be registered in its register, otherwise they will not be able to participate.
It is important to remember that, in the 2022 process, a tie as such was not heldas some coaches “boycotted” this procedure and formed a preselection to leave out two clubs that are not part of their group, taking advantage of the omission of the municipal sports authority.
