Archery: the Archers of Santo Stefano win several prizes at the regional Tecchiena

SPIGNO SATURNIA – The Regional Indoor Archery Championships, Olympic Arch division, took place in Tecchiena on February 5th and 6th. Also this year, the youth groups belonging to the Archers of Santo Stefano di Spigno Saturnia distinguished themselves in the event. The Gialloneri athletes have won numerous podiums, consolidating the now “heavy” medal table of the Sports Society.

Matteo Sciola and Denise Vaccarello won the gold in the students category, the silver Paride Natale for the juniors, Matteo Pappapicco for the boys and the bronze Giada D’Aguanno for the students. Mattia Tari instead won the silver medal for the students category, however in the Compound division, during the race held in Orte the following week, a medal that he added to the gold conquered in Tecchiena with the male Allievi team, also composed of Matteo Sciola and Fabio Pietosi. More gold for the female Allievi team with Denise Vaccarello, Giada D’Aguanno and Alisia Grande and for the male Boys team with Matteo Pappapicco, Mattia Musico and Antonio di Santo. Finally, Vavuso Isabella, Francesca Luongo and Valeria Parasmo, members of the women’s boys’ team, won the silver medal.

Many of these guys will also be involved in the next Italian Fitarco Championships which will be held in Rimini on the 25th and which will see all 4 youth teams qualified plus four individually qualified athletes. The number of participants could increase if the athletes who are currently reserves also return.
