And that’s all. After seeking a draw in Angers (0-0), Nantes were held in check by Lille (1-1) this Friday, at the start of the second day of Ligue 1. Moses Simon opened the scoring for the Canaries , before the equalizer of Lille rookie Ismaily. Les Dogues, who will face PSG in their next outing in Lille, remained on a 4-1 victory against AJ Auxerre.
LOSC deserved better
However, the final score does not necessarily reflect the physiognomy of the match. The Lille players generally performed well, but they fell on an excellent Nantes defense.
