Tragedy at the training camp.
A 50-year-old supporter of the Royal Blues died at the Schalke camp in Mittersill (Austria).
The cause of death is still unclear, so far there is no evidence of external influence.
The deceased fan was found dead in the Mittersill National Park Center, where Schalke had presented the new main sponsor “MeinAuto.de” on Wednesday.
Schalke wrote on Twitter: “Sad news for the Schalke club family: A supporter of the Royal Blues died at the training camp in Mittersill for reasons that are still unclear. FC Schalke 04’s thoughts are with his family and friends. Our deepest sympathy goes out to them.”
