The OL midfielder firmly believes in his team’s qualification for a European Cup next season.
Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso said OL “could dream of going higher” after the home victory against Monaco (3-2) on Sunday during the 31st day, a result which allows the Rhone residents to temporarily occupy 7th place in the ranking.
This will qualify for the Europa Conference League next season if Paris Saint-Germain wins the Coupe de France final on May 25 against OL.
“Yes, it’s a real objective now that we are officially maintained”Tolisso told the press.
“We can dream of going higher. We owed it to our supporters to go to the final of the Coupe de France, but after what we experienced at the start of the season (Lyon were last after the 15th day, Editor’s note), now we must try to qualify for a European Cup. It would be truly exceptional and would please a lot of people.”he assured.
“We see that we continue to do great things. There are three matches left to grab 7th place or more, you never know, and then there will be the final”said Corentin Tolisso again, estimating that “the public makes the difference”.
