Box Cut – Joshua Maya

We officially reached the second half of the season in the NFLWhen the game ends at Levi’s Stadium tonight, all teams will have at least nine games played, remember that now there are 17 games per season it never hurts, at least this year.

Time to make box cut, let’s start with the NFC.

Thanks to the defeat of the Cardinals, there is not a single team that does not have at least two setbacks in the season and as the Packers they defeated the Cardinals, today Green Bay dawns as the # 1 seed of the NFC, followed by Arizona and the Dallas Cowboys. These 3 seem along with the Rams and the Buccaneers to look like contenders, if we look for them buts, we will find all of them, but in one way or another, there are 5 teams that in the postseason can beat anyone from this same group.

Behind them come the Saints, the Panthers, the Vikings and a long list of teams all the way to Chicago with a 3-6 record that they will fight each other for two postseason tickets, but to be honest, none of them today are seen with the capabilities to fight the five mentioned above.

Because of how even the group of contenders is, being able to finish as the # 1 seed of the NFC will have an extreme value, first because you rest in the first week, giving way to at least one of the remaining four falls in the wild card round, imagine how difficult it is to play in Lambeau in January, Tom Brady is 4-0 at home with an average of almost 40 points per game, against a 2-3 away, perhaps for the Rams, Cowboys and Cardinals their stadiums are not as much a factor as the other two, but definitely finishing as the first seed will mark the favorite team to win the conference. In my opinion it will be the Rams or the Cardinals.

In the AFC everything seems more open, Titans They wake up as # 1 seeds, but they lost to the Jets and won’t have Henry until maybe the postseason. Bills that a week ago they lost scoring 6 measly points to the Jaguars, they are followed by Ravens that they lost last Thursday against Miami, after them are the Chiefs from Kansas CityIncredible as it may seem, last night’s victory in Las Vegas puts them as division leaders, they have improved, yes, but still far from the level that we know them.

Finally, the teams with a wild card ticket for now are the Steelers that did not go beyond the tie against the Lions, the surprising Patriots who look like one of the most balanced teams in the country. NFL and the Chargers that give one of lime and one of sand.

The NFC looks stronger, 5 teams that we can consider contenders, the AFC too open, I have a hard time thinking today who could end up in the Super Bowl, I honestly have no idea. The same thing happens to you?
