So is it really a coincidence that Sam Amick of The Athletic tells us today that Damian Lillard and his entourage pushed to the Portland executives to mount a transfer involving Dray?
“Lady and her entourage campaigned,” says the insider.
This trade can only take place if the Dubs actually decide to reshape their roster (in the event of the arrival of another superstar for example). Which does not appear to be the case. The Blazers have tried to strengthen themselves this summer by bringing in Robert Covington and Derrick Jones Jr on stations three and four.
