The TAD, however, partially upheld the appeals filed by the Madrid Football Federation (RFFM) and the Flat Earth and UD Los Barrios clubs, after previously denying the adoption of a precautionary measure on the call for elections. The court’s ruling states that the call for elections, made by the board of directors and not by the president on June 10, “has not been made by the statutory body.” The legal consequence that the call has been made by an incompetent body “is the nullity” of the process. According to the electoral calendar, the renewal of the 140 members of the general assembly was scheduled for July 20 and the election of the president for August 17 or, if it was decided that August was not ideal as it was a month. holiday, September 17th.
