Will Nicolas Batum stay with the Los Angeles Clippers next season? The winger, vice-Olympic champion with the France team last summer, according to ESPN, decided not to activate his player option of 3.3 million dollars (3.1 M€), provided for in his contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, his franchise for two seasons.
Batum should therefore become a free agent this summer, and test the market in the NBA. He could also find a new deal with the Clippers, with whom he averaged more than 8 points per game in two seasons, but was eliminated in the Western Conference Finals in 2021 and in play-in this season. This second option seems preferred, still according to ESPN.
