Rimini Ultras Face Trial Over Bellaria Monte Clubhouse Attack
Eleven Rimini Calcio supporters aged between 20 and 53 must stand trial following a violent raid on a Cesena fan clubhouse in Bellaria Monte, chiamamicitta.it reported. Investigators closed the preliminary inquiries into the November 2, 2024, assault, scheduling the pre-trial hearing before the Rimini court for February 4, 2027.
The total indictment encompasses ten distinct charges across the group. All eleven defendants face the first eight counts, which include aggravated criminal damage to the Asd Bellaria Monte clubhouse on Via San Mauro, aggravated personal injury sustained by a supporter, five separate counts of property damage targeting automobiles, and the illegal carrying of offensive weapons. Two additional charges apply solely to a single defendant concerning incidents at a separate sporting fixture.
The Raid on via San Mauro
Court filings describe how approximately twenty hooded individuals linked to the Rimini organized fanbase arrived at the Bellaria Monte facility on the evening of November 2, 2024. The venue served as a regular gathering place for Gioventù Bellariese, a supporters’ group aligned with Cesena ultras. Armed with iron bars, chains, wooden clubs, and baseball bats, the group launched two lit flares into the courtyard before smashing exterior glass panels to force entry.

Once inside, the attackers targeted interior furnishings and occupants, shattering doors, breaking windows, wrecking snack counters, and detonating a smoke bomb. Prosecutors estimate the property damage resulting from the devastation at approximately €5,000. During the confrontation, a man inside the facility suffered a cranial fracture from a direct blow to the head with a club, requiring hospital treatment and a 40-day medical prognosis.
Defendant Attacks Police Cordon with Belt After Basketball Derby
Beyond the clubhouse raid, the legal proceedings incorporate disturbances from a basketball fixture held six days prior. On October 27, 2024, at the Flaminio sports hall following a derby match between RBR Rimini and Unieuro Forlì, one of the eleven defendants allegedly attempted to breach a police cordon to confront opposing fans from Forlì. Prosecutors charge that the individual resisted a state police officer who attempted to block his advance and used a belt as a weapon during the altercation.
The investigation was carried out jointly by the Rimini Police Headquarters (Questura) and the Carabinieri. Following searches executed in March 2025 targeting suspected participants, the Questura issued 13 banning orders (Daspo) totaling 56 years in cumulative duration, with individual restrictions ranging from three to ten years. Four supporters also received mandatory reporting obligations at police stations during Rimini fixtures.
Attorneys Represent Defendants for Court Hearing in February 2027
The defendants have retained a legal team comprising defense attorneys Marco Pastocchi, Umberto De Gregorio, Andrea Guidi, Graziana Maria Bettuelli, Antonella Manica, Massimiliano Orrù, and Giovanna Ollà. The pre-trial hearing before the Rimini court is set for February 4, 2027.
