Local organizers noted that preparations included an initial practice session held on Friday, September 11, allowing athletes to test the downtown venue ahead of the medal rounds.

A notable storyline for the Mexican delegation is the heavy concentration of local talent on the national roster. According to CONADE High Performance Director Carolina Acosta, 60 percent of the entire Mexican national archery selection originates from Coahuila. Four prominent local athletes—Ana Paula Vázquez, Dafne Quintero, Sebastián García, and Matías Grande—are competing as part of the national team on home soil, looking to secure podium finishes against international rivals.
Governor Jiménez acknowledged that the strong competitive track record of Coahuila’s athletes played a definitive role in convincing sports authorities to award Saltillo the hosting rights for the world final. State and municipal leaders framed the tournament as a major milestone for local sports development, tourism, and cultural promotion.

The tournament schedule spans two days of intense head-to-head elimination matches at the Plaza de Armas venue:
- Saturday, September 12 (Compound Archery Finals): Men’s division competition runs from 10:00 to 12:00 local time (UTC-6), followed by the women’s division from 14:00 to 16:00 local time.
- Sunday, September 13 (Recurve Archery Finals): Men’s division matches take place from 10:00 to 12:00 local time, with the women’s finals scheduled for 14:00 to 16:00 local time.
Tickets are priced at 200 pesos per session and are available for purchase physically at the venue box office or digitally via the Boletomóvil platform.
