Bruce Lee Commemoration 2026 Hosted by Kombat Club Messina

Palazzo Palano Hosts Third Bruce Lee Commemoration in Messina

The Kombat Club Messina will host the third edition of the Bruce Lee Commemoration on November 25, 2026, at the Palazzo Palano gallery, featuring a multidisciplinary martial arts seminar dedicated to the actor and philosopher’s enduring influence on combat sports.

More than 50 years after the death of Bruce Lee, local associations continue to examine the martial artist’s philosophy, which extended beyond fighting methods into personal growth and individual freedom. Lee popularized the Jeet Kune Do framework, a combat approach emphasizing simplicity, efficiency, and energy conservation while rejecting rigid stylistic boundaries.

Multidisciplinary Training Under Local Instructors

The upcoming event in Messina will showcase kickboxing, kobudo, MGA, and musical forms under the technical direction of instructors Consuelo Casablanca and Giosuè Coppola.

Casablanca holds a degree in motor and sports activity management alongside FEDERKOMBAT certifications and a second-dan ranking in both kobudo and karate through the Fijlkam structure. Coppola brings more than 40 years of martial arts experience to the session, holding a fifth-dan ranking in kobudo alongside instructor credentials in kickboxing and MGA.

Federkombat Affiliates Messina Club for November Training Sessions

The organizing body, Kombat Club Messina, maintains affiliation with FEDERKOMBAT, the Italian combat sports federation recognized by CONI. The program focuses on practical self-defense applications derived from the principles championed by Lee during his film and philosophy career.

Guest instructors representing each of the featured disciplines will join Casablanca and Coppola at the Palazzo Palano gallery on November 25, 2026, to conduct the training sessions for participating athletes and practitioners.
