Musetti Injury: Australian Open Loss Rules Him Out of Golden Swing

The number five in the world rankings had the 24-time Grand Slam champion and eventual finalist on the verge of defeat. He won the first two sets clearly, but then got injured at the start of the third round.

Musetti still doesn’t have good experiences with the “Golden Swing”. Last year he had to withdraw before the quarter-finals in Buenos Aires and also missed the subsequent tournament in Rio. The year 2025 was still the best year of his career so far. With fifth place, he finished with the highest world ranking of his career.
