Castelnaudary Tennis: TCC Dominates Cuxac-d’Aude

The 1 men’s team of the Castelnaudary Tennis Club hosted AT Cuxanais this Sunday for the 1/4 final of the Aude division 4 championship.

The Chaurians, very determined to continue their journey in this competition, showed themselves to be intractable. Thomas Alcacer wins 6/0 6/1, Rarès Negreï wins 6/1 6/2, Rémi Fiocco wins 6/3 6/4 and Nika Mamuladze wins 6/0 6/1. At the end of the singles, 4/0 for the TCC, qualification for the semi-final in hand, Rénan Larmand and captain Jérôme Julia could attack the doubles without pressure. Not wanting to be outdone, they won 6/0 6/2. Result, victory 6/0.

Once the meeting was over, all the players and the presidents of the two clubs, Patrick Cauffope for Cuxac and Linda Dalloux for Castelnaudary, shared a good cassoulet in a very friendly spirit.

See you on February 22 for the semi-final. “All the members of the Castelnaudary Tennis Club are behind you,” encourages the club.
