The Yucatecan entity is preparing to host the High Performance Center of the Americas specialized in archery. This project contemplates various adaptations in the Wireless Sports Complex and will be executed through a budget shared between the State Government and the Conade for the cycle 2026.
This announcement emerged months ago in the state capital thanks to the collaboration between the state authorities, the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports and World Archery México. The initiative seeks the internationalization of this discipline, installing one of the two centers planned for the country, while the second will be located in Baja California Norte.
Investment and modernization of the wireless sports complex
The remodeling tasks in the sports unit will formally begin in the month of January. According to the operational plans, this infrastructure will benefit hundreds of Yucatecan athletes and athletes from neighboring nations such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama and Belize.
