Archery Sessions Arrive at Villa Montalvo in Campi Bisenzio

Thousands of harvested pumpkins of every shape and color and towering sculptures built entirely from straw bales form the backdrop as archery demonstrations and trial sessions arrive at the theme park at Villa Montalvo in Campi Bisenzio. Visitors can reach out via WhatsApp at 331/4417741 or consult www.ilregnodellezucche.it for further details regarding the event, which runs from September 26 to November 1, 2026.

Archery Demonstrations and Public Trials at Villa Montalvo

The fifth weekend of the autumn event known as “Il Regno delle Zucche e della Paglia” brings groups of archers from Sesto Fiorentino to the grounds for target practice and live demonstrations. Organizers have opened the trial sessions to children aged eight and older as well as adults. Participants shoot at targets fashioned from pumpkins and straw, connecting the sport directly to the visual themes of the harvest festival.

Lo spazio divertimento di Villa Montalvo sarà aperto a famiglie e bambini dalle 10 alle 18 sul fronte di laboratori e spettacoli. The food zones, Luna Park rides, and straw sculpture displays remain accessible until 8:00 PM. The event runs on weekends through November 1.

Additional creative activities feature a butterfly maze, a park treasure hunt, traditional wooden games, educational workshops, and beekeeping sessions, alongside activities where children can color pumpkins, transport them between straw bales using small carts, and paint the bales themselves. An indoor covered street food area serves Tuscan specialties and street food for all tastes, complemented by a Luna Park featuring rides and inflatables where all internal activities except the Luna Park remain free once inside.

Cosa Fare a Firenze Sets Ticket Prices and Hours

Cosa Fare a Firenze details the standard admission structure for the park, which opens Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Adult tickets cost 12 euros, while reduced tickets are available for 10 euros covering children aged five to 12, visitors over 65, and disability support companions; this reduced rate includes a complimentary ride voucher for the Luna Park. Family packages priced at 30 euros cover two adults and one child, also including a Luna Park ride voucher. Admission is free for children aged four and under as well as visitors with disabilities. While tickets can be purchased at the venue, online advance booking through TicketOne is recommended to avoid queues.

In the event of inclement weather, organizers keep the park open. Walking paths consist of gravel designed to stay dry, and scheduled workshops and performances relocate to a large indoor space. The festival grounds feature continuous entertainment, including straw- bale theater performances, circus artists, giant soap bubble shows, magic acts, traditional wooden games, and beekeeping workshops.
