Christmas Grand Slam in Leini

Leinì’s Christmas Grand Slam ends in the name of the Accademia Canavese Judo, giving emotions and important results to the young pre-competitors who took to the tatami near the end of the year.

Category Children B

Federico Meinardi climbed to the top step of the podium, the absolute protagonist of the competition with a splendid gold medal in the Children B category.

For Federico this is an expected success and pursued with commitment and determination. The young judoka was able to impose himself on all his opponents, demonstrating character and technical qualities that allowed him to conquer the most precious metal. A significant achievement, which represents at the same time a satisfaction and a starting point for a sporting journey that looks to the future with ambition and the desire to improve.

Children category

Good performance also for his older brother Francesco Meinardi, who finished the race in third place in the Children’s category. A valuable result, which confirms his commitment and the level achieved, although the desire to go even further in future competitions remains. However, Filippo, the youngest of the brothers, was absent and was forced to withdraw shortly before the start of the race.

Boys category

To complete the positive balance of the day come two more bronze medals in the Boys category, won by D’Herrin Etienne and Martina Greco. For both it is a new third place which certifies their consistency and competitiveness, even if the last step still remains to be taken to climb higher on the podium.
