Saint-Quay-Portrieux Archery: Saint Sebastian’s Day Celebration

There were more than forty archers at Esperance on Saturday January 24, to compete in the traditional shooting of Saint-Sébastien, patron of their discipline. “Young and old, beginners and experienced tried to reach the precise point of an original map drawn by last year’s winners. The fight was fierce and the shots precise. A lovely festive afternoon which ended with a moment of conviviality,” reports the club. The same day, the young people obtained two podiums: Gweltaz Jobic placed 3rd and Louise Ménard-Edon 1st. Sunday January 25 in Dinan, it was the adults who competed according to the same formula as the young people: qualifications in the morning and duels (with direct elimination) in the afternoon. They reached seven podiums, including five gold.
