This Saturday January 17 and Sunday January 18, 2026, the departmental 18-meter archery team championship took place at La Vraie-Croix. The competition was organized by the Morbihan departmental archery committee, with the support of the Langroez Arc club, and brought together numerous teams from throughout the department.
Saturday was dedicated to the men’s classic teams. After a qualifying phase in the morning, the archers competed in the afternoon during duels. At the end of the day, the Kervignac team won the departmental title.
On Sunday, three categories were on the program: women’s classics, mixed compound and mixed barebow. The titles went to Vannes in women’s classics, Lorient in mixed compound and Peillac in mixed barebow.
Many volunteers mobilized
“Over the entire weekend, the competition mobilized many volunteers from the club and the departmental committee, as well as the referees present on the shooting ranges, allowing the events to run smoothly,” rejoices Nicolas Hrycenko, assistant secretary of the Langroez Arc club.
Based in La Vraie-Croix, the Langroez Arc club is regularly present at the forums of the Sulniac, Elven and Questembert associations to introduce people to archery.
