The Puerto Rico Baseball Academy and High School (PRBAHS) has officially unveiled its World Class Training Center, a cutting-edge facility situated within the Eastern Recreation-Sports Complex in caguas. With a groundbreaking investment of $2 million,the project is the result of a collaborative effort between Major League Baseball (MLB),the MLB Players Association (MLBPA),and the Autonomous Municipality of Caguas. Mayor william Miranda Torres emphasized the center’s potential to drive both athletic and community growth, calling it a transformative initiative for the region.
The World Class Training Center boasts state-of-the-art amenities, including advanced batting simulators, high-performance fitness zones, and dedicated spaces for mental and strategic coaching. These resources,paired with PRBAHS’s robust academic and athletic programs,aim to provide young players with a holistic,elite-level training experience.
The facility’s design was spearheaded by renowned architect Mariela Bravo, a key member of the Manuel Bermúdez Arquitectos team. Her vision has brought to life a space that blends functionality with innovation, setting a new standard for sports training centers.
