The Czechs used yesterday’s day off to rest, regenerate and sleep longer. Twelve players completed today’s voluntary ice skating, including three hockey players who have not yet registered and the third goalie Karel Vejmelka.
Although the national team has a positive balance with Denmark, the last four meetings between them had to be decided by raids – and the Danish team succeeded twice in them.
In Tuesday’s matches, the Canadians experienced a complete shock, leading Austria 6:1 even before the third period. But in the end, the match had to be decided at 6:6 by extra time, in which Canada struck after 15 seconds.
