Dominik Koepfer won against Frances Tiafoe in straight sets
Dominik Koepfer followed Olympic champion Alexander Zverev into the third round at the ATP Masters in Rome. The 30-year-old from Furtwangen defeated the 22nd seeded American Frances Tiafoe 6:4 and 6:2 and will now face his compatriot Tommy Paul, number 14 on the seed list.
Jan-Lennard Struff from Warstein will play against Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, seeded sixth, on Saturday for a place in the round of the best 32 in the eternal city.
