FC Barcelona has moved past Girona into second place in the Spanish championship. The Catalans won their home game against Real Sociedad 2-0 on Monday evening.
Young star Lamine Yamal (40th) scored for the “Blaugrana” shortly before the break, Raphinha (93rd) made everything clear from the penalty spot in stoppage time. Girona had already had to settle for a 2-2 draw at Alaves on Friday. Real Madrid are already confirmed as champions.
