Arnautovic scores at Inter-Schützenfest – sport.ORF.at

Marko Arnautovic scored his third goal of the season in Serie A in Italian champions Inter Milan’s 5-0 away win against Frosinone. The 35-year-old Viennese, who started on Friday for the first time since the end of February, pushed a Stangl pass over the line to make it 2-0 in the 60th minute. Four minutes later, the otherwise unremarkable Arnautovic was substituted by coach Simone Inzaghi.

Davide Frattesi (19th) artistically gave the “Nerazzurri” the lead with his knee, and Tajon Buchanan (77th), Lautaro Martinez (80th) and Marcus Thuram (84th) also got on the scoresheet. For Arnautovic, who was in the starting line-up for only the fourth time in Serie A this season, it was the first goal in an Inter jersey since mid-February. Inter temporarily extended their lead at the top of the table over pursuers AC Milan to 21 points after the 36th league game.

It was recently reported in the Italian media that Inter wanted to invest in young strikers and part ways with Arnautovic, whose contract runs until 2025. According to “Gazzetta dello Sport”, the search for a club for the ÖFB attacker is difficult. Arnautovic moved from Bologna to Milan at the start of the season, where he won his second championship title with Inter after 2010.
