On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the annual general meeting of TV Kirchheimbolanden took place in the Jahnturnhalle in Kirchheimbolanden.
In addition to the agenda items, there was a very special honoring of athletes and deserving members on the agenda. The TVK itself honored the athletes Paul Ebert from the judo department and Lisa Schwingel from the jujutsu department for their participation and successes in the German championships in their sports.
Bernd Mohr, head of the Ju-Jutsu department, and Uli Schlicher, who works as first chairman for the club, were particularly surprised.
Under the eyes of city mayor Dr. Marc Muchow and the associate Dr. Jamill Sabbagh and Birgit Dall, the deputy sports district chairman of the Sportbund-Pfalz, Tristan Werner, presented both of them with the silver badge of honor for their many years of service to TV Kirchheimbolanden.
The participants at the meeting were amazed that Bernd Mohr has been making the 50-minute journey to Kirchheimbolanden twice a week for more than 30 years to take part in or lead the training. In addition, Bernd Mohr made a significant contribution to the Ju-Jutsu department’s 30th anniversary this year and helped shape it, especially through his good work and member acquisition.
Uli Schlicher was surprised with a video of his former sports teammates, who sent him greetings and congratulations on the honor from different countries.
The meeting ended with warm congratulations and a look forward to further successful years for TV Kirchheimbolanden and its committed members.
