In Argelès-sur-Mer, the regional badminton championship brought together 164 players aged 35 to 80. Seven players from the Trebéen club participated and collected seven medals.
Xavier, two gold medals in singles V1, in doubles V1 with his partner from Bages (Pyrénées-Orientales) and bronze medal in mixed doubles with Géraldine, had a great tournament. Géraldine is therefore “tanned” twice with Xavier and in women’s doubles V2 with her Limoux partner.
In V8, Léo, semi-finalist in singles and semi-finalist in doubles with his usual partner from Lot, returns with two bronze medals.
Moussa, Florence, Yves and Alain participated and achieved great matches against very good players without managing to qualify for the final stages.
In the ranking by club, Trèbes/Carcassonne badminton is 8th out of 35 participating Occitanie clubs and 1st Aude club.
