Thetford Unicanvas is making a big move by picking up Ryo Kohigashi.
The latter currently aligns with the Quebec Capitales but Thetford general manager, Dominic Bolduc, is taking a chance to welcome the left-handed pitcher into these ranks this summer.
Kohigashi was a finalist for pitcher of the year in 2023, he comes to Thetford in return for a 2024 4th round pick from Thetford to Granby and a 2025 conditional 2nd round pick, if he qualifies for the 2024 series with Thetford.
Kohigashi has been very dominant in 2023 with a 1.92 ERA and 106 strikeouts.
