One more year and now there are twenty editions, the Popular Badminton Tournament now has dates and opens the registration period to all players. The Soriana Delegation and the Soria Badminton Club, co-organizers of the tournament, have already been working for several months to develop, with the usual care, the test that will be held on May 25 and 26.
As in the last editions, the absolute, sub-17 and sub-13 categories will be called, both individually and in the three doubles modalities.
All players will play at least two matches in each modality in which they register, with the best in each group entering the second elimination phase.
Registration and payment can be made at the Badminton Club Soria website until May 17 at 7:00 p.m. All the information about the tournament is available there as well as on the club’s social networks.
Anyone interested, even if they cannot play during this edition, can obtain the t-shirt given to the players and may do so by completing the same registration process of the people who wish to play the competition, indicating this possibility in the option enabled for this purpose.
The organization is truly grateful to the sponsors who, almost the majority, have renewed their support, as well as public institutions and local media, actors necessary to maintain the characteristics of this tournament.
Now comes the time for the players’ response, encouraging them to play to consolidate, with their presence, the good health of the competition. Its nature is totally popular, with the participation of federated players in the senior category not being allowed in the last three seasons, thus giving priority to the recreational part over the merely competitive part. All players will receive an attractive t-shirt and various products thanks to the support achieved. For the winners there will be a corresponding trophy along with gift vouchers to exchange for sports equipment.
