RB Leipzig has not been able to defend the DFB Cup again this season, as the Rose team came to an end against VfL Wolfsburg in the round of 16. Now the eSports department RBLZ has at least won the virtual version of the trophy again.
RB against BVB: demonstration of power by Vejrgang
Umut Gültekin and Anders Vejrgang competed in the final of the console competition against Borussia Dortmund to defend the title. Gültekin initially fell behind against Roee Feldmann, but was able to turn it around with two goals and finally made it 2-1.
His teammate was able to win the eCup with a win in game two against the Belgian Bradley Destoop. And they did so impressively: at the final whistle of the game it was 5-0 for the Dane.
