Intense NBA Playoffs: Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder Fight for Vital Match-4 Wins

Another intense night of NBA playoffs. Two semi-final matches, two match-4s that could be vital for Boston Celtics vs. Oklahoma City Thunder.

Boston moved within one win of the Eastern Conference Finals by overcoming by 109-102 i Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The Ohio franchise has arrived at the appointment without Donovan Mitchell, out with a calf strain, and Jarrett Allen with a rib problem and tried to bite the bullet, driven by Darius Garland’s 30 points with 8 assists and 19 from Levert and Mobley.

But the Celtics managed to grab the game thanks to a triple Jaylen Brown in the last minutes which gave him an eight point margin; 27 with 15 shots for the Celtics player, who backs the Jayson Tatum’s double-double of 33 points and 11 rebounds. For Mazzulla’s team there is now the opportunity to close the series at the TD Garden.

Oklahoma City instead finds the winning move in the final at the American Airlines Center, finding success in game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks 100-96 and bringing the series to a draw. The Texans lead the game for more than three quarters, even if it is Luka Doncic (18, 13 rebounds and 10 assists but with bad percentages) and Kyrie Iving (9 and 9 assists) struggle in attack. That’s how it is PJ Washington (21) to open the box with his triples.

But the Thunder lean on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who after a slow start dragged his team with a 34-point evening and bringing his team back into contact at the end. With the point-to-point match Jalen Williams (17) gives a push with four points in a row, in the drip of free throws Doncic and Washington tremble while Holmgren (18) and Gilgeous-Alexander himself are glacial.
