In all likelihood, McCarthy isn’t going to be there at No. 19. But out of the top four quarterbacks, he’s the most likely to slip. If he does, the Rams might consider taking him as the heir to Stafford. He’s a quick processor and throws accurately to all levels of the field, which makes him a good fit in Sean McVay’s offense.
Again, it’s highly unlikely the Rams take him in Round 1, but never rule anything out.
