Dominik Pavlát will not continue in Dynamo. The goalkeeper, who came to Pardubice from Pilsen on loan until the end of the season in exchange for Milan Klouček, is going abroad.
“We believe that it was a mutually beneficial cooperation. Dominik took a position that is not easy, but he handled it brilliantly and helped us in the playoffs at the right moment,” sports director Dušan Salfický tells hcdynamo.cz.
“He had the opportunity to see how our organization works and to work with experienced players. He will have an open door with us and maybe our paths will cross again in the future,” he adds.
The 24-year-old Pavlát caught four games for Pardubice in the regular season (he won three times). He started only once in the elimination part, in the fourth semi-final against Litvínov.
Then he replaced Roman Will in the first period and contributed to the turnover. With an ambitious club, he eventually achieved silverware.
“We all wanted to grab the title here. I’m sorry and I’ll be sorry for some time to come. But I will only remember Pardubice in good terms. The guys, the fans, the management… Everything was great here. It completely exceeded my expectations,” thanks Pavlát himself.

The Czech club announced that Pavlát is to head abroad again. However, the specific unit is not yet known. There has been speculation about the Finnish Ilves or the AHL for a long time.
