Uli Hoeneß’s attack on Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel surprised former player Lothar Matthäus. He has a tip for the honorary president.
Record national player Lothar Matthäus contradicts Uli Hoeneß’s criticism of Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel and is surprised by it.
“I don’t know what he meant exactly – the way he said it,” said the former professional footballer for Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich to the portal “ran”. “I can’t understand the statements.” Bayern honorary president Hoeneß criticized coach Tuchel’s work in developing young players during a public appearance.
Matthäus gave Hoeneß a tip and thought it would be good “if he would also walk past a microphone.” The former Bayern player recommended talking about everything internally. “But not in front of every camera,” said Matthäus. “But if he thinks he’s doing it right, then that’s probably an opinion that not many people share with him.
