The town of Holy Teresita will host the first stage of the national parabadminton circuit, a competition organized by the Badminton Federation of the Argentine Republic in conjunction with the municipality of The coast.
On this occasion, there will be two days of competition, Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th, with activities to take place in the municipal sports center of the aforementioned coastal townlocated on 13th Street between 45 and 46.
“Athletes from all categories will participate, from the 6 modalities that the discipline has, and we will also have the presence of the coach of the Argentine team; the president of the federation and the secretary,” said Débora Kowalik, director of the municipality’s adapted sports area.
“In the first instance, which will be on Friday the 17th, all the qualifying stages will be played; while on Saturday the 18th the finals will be played, in the singles and doubles modalities. That same day, Saturday, the awards ceremony will be held,” explained the coastal official.
Along these lines, Kowalik remarked: “This is a tournament that will begin to add federated points to athletes from the La Costa party, who will have their first experience as federated athletes after having had good results in the national camps that were held in the Cenard and also in Buenos Aires tournaments for two consecutive years,” he concluded.
