Advancing Teams in Zone A Set for League Cup Quarterfinals

Six teams from Zone A arrived with a chance to advance to the quarterfinals of the League Cup

Four key matches were held in Zone A where those classified for the quarterfinals of the League Cup were determined. Argentinos Juniors tied 3-3 with Barracas Central, Independiente tied 2-2 with Talleres, Independiente Rivadavia lost 1-0 with Vélez Sarsfield and River Plate beat Instituto in Córdoba 3-1.

With these results, River Plate, Argentinos Juniors, Barracas Central and Vélez Sarsfield earned a ticket to the next phase. This Tuesday it will be the turn of Zone B, so that the quarterfinal matches are formed, which at the moment are: River Plate vs Defensa y Justicia; Estudiantes vs Barracas Central, Godoy Cruz vs Vélez and Argentinos vs Lanús.
