Andrea Sánchez, Judo Valdemoro athlete, is the Spanish champion of less than 70 kilograms in the cadet category. The young woman put the gold medal around her neck in Pamplona after defeating all of her opponents in the national championship matches held at the Navarra Arena Pavilion on the weekend of April 27 to 28.

A seventh place for San Martín de la Vega
The San Martín de la Vega judo club had four athletes at the event: Paula Fernández and Inés Ruiz, champion and runner-up of Madrid in under 48 kilograms for cadets, Iván Fraile, champion of Madrid in under 46 kilograms for children, and Rodrigo Ruíz, bronze in less than 42 kilograms for children.
