But the American doesn’t just stand out because of his old-school hair and mustache – he also plays really well. In the 96:76 victory with his Würzburg Baskets at EWE Baskets Oldenburg, the two-meter-tall winger scored 30 points. Five of his six three-point throws landed on target.
Seljaas is averaging 14.4 points this season – 21st in the Easycredit BBL rankings. There are also 6.2 rebounds – 8th place in the BBL.

Now Seljaas is aiming very high: “The championship is definitely a goal for us that we work for every day as a team,” he says. Würzburg is currently fourth in the table with 16 wins and six defeats. Last season they finished 11th.
In 2022/23, Seljaas played in the second division for Tübingen and was voted the best player of the season. Now he is causing a sensation in the BBL.
