Two representatives of Yffiniac Judo traveled this Saturday, March 2, to Elven in Morbihan, to participate in the 11th label A veterans tournament. Facing fighters from all over France, Lila Bertrand and Yann Le Meur shone in their respective categories.
In the F6 category (55 to 59 years old) in less than 63 kg, Lila, 2018 world champion in Cancún (Mexico) and vice-world champion in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), very logically climbed to the top step from the podium.
In less than 81 kg category M2 (35 to 39 years old), Yann Le Meur reached the final, a final which he let escape, still obtaining a nice silver medal.
At the same time, the French junior championship took place in Paris: in less than 60 kg Sasha Quentin failed in the quarter-final, still obtaining a good 9th place out of 50 fighters present. Less luck for Lilou Le Corvoisier in less than 57 kg who will lose in the first fight.
