Miles the Mascot Visits Yucatan Baseball Team for Training Day

The official mascot of the Denver Broncos “Miles” (NFL team), visited the long-haired team along with Leonel “El Coronel” and Manuel Padilla, former Broncos player, on their fourth day of activities.

Merida, Yuc (leones.mx) March 15, 2024-. With visit included! “Miles The Mascot” and Manuel Padilla lived today with Leonel “El Coronel” where they shared a jersey, trained for a while and lived with the players.

Practice began at 8:20 am with the batter’s box open for any hitter who wants to practice and with Ruben Tejada and José Peraza doing infield work.

The launchers. Alex Tovalín, Pedro Payano, Francisco Haro, Fausto Hernandez and Ian Medina worked in the bullpen with Gil Vizcarra, Sergio Contreras, Carlos Beltrán and Iván García at catcher.

The other pitchers performed expressiveness exercises and released their arms to continue in rhythm and form.

Five groups of hitters had batting practice in three different stations, one for bunting, in the batting cage and finally, free hitting, with the novelty that Walter Ibarra and Lazaro Alonso worked in group 1.

At the end, the pitchers headed to the gym to work on their muscles and strength.

After training they went to the hotel to eat and then have another session in the gym.

Tomorrow the longhairs will have their fifth day of activities at the Model University starting at 9:00 am.
