The Frenchwoman won for her first international outing of the year.
Mélanie De Jesus Dos Santos won the gold medal on the uneven bars on Sunday during the Antalya stage of the Gymnastics World Cup. For her first international outing of the year less than four months before the Paris Olympic Games, the Frenchwoman won with a new routine which earned her a score of 14.567 points.
The 24-year-old gymnast, who trains in the United States alongside Simone Biles, also won the bronze medal on floor (13.600 points). The other Frenchwoman entered in Turkey, Morgane Osyssek, won two medals, silver on floor (13.667) and bronze on vault (12,900 pts).
